John Barsa assumed his duties as Acting Administrator at USAID on April 11, 2020 after serving as Assistant Administrator for USAID’s Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to joining USAID, Mr. Barsa led the Department of Homeland Security Office of Partnership and Engagement as the Acting Assistant Secretary and later as the Principal Deputy Assistant Security.
Mr. Barsa began his career at the Department of Homeland Security in the Trump administration as Special Assistant to Secretary John Kelly. During the historic 2017 hurricane season, he deployed to Puerto Rico where he designed and led one of the most complex and challenging intergovernmental affairs efforts in FEMA history. He also served in the administration of President George W. Bush, where he was appointed to lead senior level coordination with the private sector and support legislative affairs efforts for NASA. Mr. Barsa first entered public service as a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. In the private sector, he has held key positions with a premier defense trade association, small businesses, and large businesses including a leading Fortune 100 company.

Ambassador Friedman was nominated by President Trump on January 20, 2017 and sworn in as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the State of Israel on March 29, 2017. He was the first bilateral ambassador to be confirmed in the Trump administration. Prior to his appointment as Ambassador, Mr. Friedman was a nationally top-ranked attorney and a founding partner of a leading law firm in New York City. Mr. Friedman earned a B.A. from Columbia University in New York City in 1978 and a J.D. from New York University School of Law in New York City in 1981.
Since assuming his post, Ambassador Friedman has actively engaged in the development and execution of President Trump’s Israel-related policies, including those with respect to the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the move of the United States Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and the recognition of Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights. He also plays a lead role in the administration’s ongoing efforts to advance the cause of peace in the Middle East.
Well known for his excellent public speaking, negotiating, and interpersonal skills, Mr. Friedman has been active for decades in U.S. policy relating to Israel and the Middle East as well as numerous related philanthropies. He speaks and reads Hebrew and has traveled to Israel many times since his Bar Mitzvah at the Western Wall in 1971.
Mr. Friedman has been happily married to Tammy since 1981 and is a proud father of five and grandfather of many more.

Senator Lindsey Graham was elected to the United States Senate in 2002 and was re-elected in 2008 and 2014. Graham currently serves as the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Prior to serving in the Senate, Graham was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1994. Before being elected to Congress, Graham compiled a distinguished record in the United States Air Force. From 1984-1988, he was assigned overseas and served at Rhein-Main Air Force Base in Germany. Upon leaving active duty in 1989, Graham joined the South Carolina Air National Guard where he served until 1995. During the first Gulf War in the early 90’s, Graham was called to active duty and served state-side at McEntire Air National Guard Base as Staff Judge Advocate. Graham retired from the Air Force Reserves in June 2015 having served his country in uniform for 33 years. He retired at the rank of Colonel.
A native South Carolinian, Graham earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of South Carolina. He lives in Seneca and is a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Dave Hoppe served as Chief of Staff to Speaker Paul Ryan. Before working for Speaker Ryan, he was in the private sector as president of Hoppe Strategies, a strategic planning, lobbying, and political consulting firm. During previous jobs on Capitol Hill, he directed Whip offices in both the House and Senate and led the Senate Majority Leader’s office during the Clinton and Bush 43 administrations. Both positions oversaw and coordinated the flow of legislation through Congress, and both required working with political personalities on both sides of the aisle as well as the White House to achieve passage for each bill.
Other Hill positions held by Hoppe include Chief of Staff to Representative Jack Kemp during his presidential bid and Chief of Staff to Senator Dan Coats who was appointed to replace former Senator Dan Quayle. Early in his Hill career, Hoppe served as energy and environmental policy analyst for the Republican Study Committee. In 2003, Hoppe left the Hill to work for the public affairs firm Quinn Gillespie & Associates, serving as President of QGA from 2007-2011, when he returned briefly to the Senate to direct the Whip office for Senator Kyl.
Hoppe holds a B.A. in Government from the University of Notre Dame and an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He is married and has three children.

Cissie Graham Lynch is the daughter of Franklin Graham and the granddaughter of Billy Graham. Cissie was raised in the familiar surroundings of two ministries her father now leads—the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse. Since 2010, Cissie has worked as part of the two organizations in various capacities, currently serving as a communications advisor and ministry spokesperson. She has traveled the world advocating for initiatives that reach women, children, and millennials. Her mission is to stand boldly for the Gospel in an ever-compromising world and encourage others to stand on only the Truth―the same Spirit-filled Truth that she has found in her relationship with Jesus Christ.
In 2017, Cissie was a speaker at the National Prayer Service for the 58th Presidential Inauguration at the National Cathedral. She serves on the Executive Evangelical Advisory Board of President Trump’s Faith Advisory Council. Cissie encourages people to speak boldly on issues including life, family, and faith.

Mark Meadows serves as White House Chief of Staff. Prior to this, he served North Carolina’s 11th District from 2013 to 2020.
